Our group had travelled from Milford to Te Anau after abandoning a sunrise shoot at Milford due to inclement weather. That weather extended down to Te Anau, but resulted in some unique images at nearby Lake Manapouri. Usually renowned for its mirror like surface and reflections of the distant snow capped mountains, Lake Manapouri was more akin to the wild west coast this afternoon.
